Role (Overview of the Position)
- Serves as the point of contact for tenants and property owners to ensure high standards of customer service is met and work orders are handled efficiently.
Responsibilities (Tasks Associated with the Role)
- Communicate with tenants reactively and proactively and coordinate with property owners, when necessary, regarding work orders
- Schedule and coordinate work with tenants
- Communicate with vendors regarding scheduled work orders
- Communicate with property owners daily with the mindset of having the best of intentions/interests for 1) property owner 2) property itself and 3) tenant
- Coordinate and proactively schedule work orders to the maintenance staff
- Responsible for the daily tracking of work orders and vendor invoices
- Execute recurring multifamily property work orders
Results (Expected Accomplishments)
- Ensure tenant and property owner satisfaction with the repair process and outcome
- Ensure vendors and technicians are scheduled efficiently
- Maintain and audit accurate work order database daily
- Ensure notes and statuses are put into the work order database daily
- Maintain excellent communication with all parties, internal and external.
Requirements (Expected Proficiencies)
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous property management and maintenance management experience preferred
- Experience in customer service and scheduling
- Existing knowledge and continued learning of property maintenance and construction
- High degree of initiative and self-motivation; strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills required
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and the ability to learn new software quickly
