Job Description:
We are looking for an energetic, reliable and friendly person to join our team in our Keene, NY branch! Our Tellers are the face of our business – promoting our mission and providing outstanding service by performing bank transaction, opening new accounts, and building strong customer relationships.
Essential Functions:
- Greeting clients and creating a welcoming environment.
- Processing transactions such as deposits, cashing checks, loan payments, etc. with accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintaining and balancing cash drawers.
- Process requests for money orders and cashiers checks.
- Process Canadian foreign exchange transactions to include processing checks through Key Bank.
- Assist clients by verifying balances, receiving change of address requests or updating their CIF (Customer Information File) records or closing accounts, as requested.
- Upholding client satisfaction by supporting external and internal clients, answering questions and request in a timely manner.
- Maintains client confidence and protects operations by following the Code of Ethics and Secrecy Agreement, and keeping information confidential.
- Complies with the bank procedures and follows regulatory, operational, and security guidelines.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Customer Service Experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office Programs
- Banking Experience Preferred, however we are excited to train the right candidate!
