Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma/GED - required
- Diploma or Associate Degree in Surveying or Civil Engineering - Preferred
- Vocational or technical training in construction – desirable

- Analyzing and interpreting blueprints, shop drawings, and various construction documents
- Measuring and calculating accurately and precisely
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting
- Communicating/reporting with/to field engineering manager, superintendents, project managers and team members
- Assisting with implementation of site safety and work-task plans
- Recognizing and correcting job site hazards
- Making precise judgments and decisions at the work task and process levels
- Listening, speaking, calculating reading and writing at an advanced level.

- Seeing and interpreting details close up and far away
