Job Summary
The Bartender is responsible for providing an excellent guest drinking experience. This includes formulating and serving alcoholic or soft drink beverages behind the restaurant bar, creating classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations.
Responsibilities are under the direct supervision of the Restaurant Supervisor and /or the Restaurant Manager.
Qualification Standards
Education & Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Bartending and/or Mixology certification is preferred.
- At least one year of bartending experience required.
- At least one year of progressive experience in a resort, restaurant or related field preferred.
- Must possess a professional presentation.
- Must be bilingual (Spanish & English).
Physical Requirements:
- Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
- Ability to lift and exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
Duties & Functions: Essential
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant guests.
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make drink recommendations.
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails.
- Plan and present bar menu.
- Check customers’ identification and confirm they meet the legal drinking age.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean.
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.

Pay: $8.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
