Responsibilities: - Provide in-home care to elderly or disabled individuals - Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming - Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals - Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature - Assist with mobility and transfers, including lifting and positioning - Provide companionship and emotional support to clients - Help with light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and meal preparation - Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or hospice needs Qualifications: - Previous experience in patient care or senior care is preferred - Knowledge of medication administration and basic medical procedures - Ability to lift and assist with transfers as needed - Compassionate and caring attitude towards clients - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals Please note that this position does not require a nursing degree or certification.
