We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Real Estate Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the real estate industry. The Real Estate Analyst will play a key role in conducting market research, financial analysis, and investment evaluations to support decision-making processes within our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial analysis and prepare detailed reports on real estate investments
- Perform technical accounting tasks related to real estate transactions
- Analyze creditworthiness of potential borrowers and evaluate risk associated with real estate loans
- Assist in portfolio management activities, including monitoring performance and making recommendations for adjustments
- Conduct risk analysis and develop strategies to mitigate potential risks
- Negotiate terms and conditions of real estate deals with buyers, sellers, and lenders
- Perform cash flow analysis to assess the financial viability of real estate projects
- Collect data on market trends, property values, and rental rates to support investment decisions
- Conduct equity research and provide recommendations on real estate investment opportunities
- Stay up-to-date with tax regulations and ensure compliance in real estate transactions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Proven experience in financial report writing and technical accounting
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform credit analysis and risk assessment
- Knowledge of portfolio management principles and practices
- Proficiency in negotiating terms and conditions of real estate transactions
- Familiarity with cash flow analysis techniques and financial modeling
- Excellent data collection and research skills
- Understanding of equity research methodologies for real estate investments
- Knowledge of tax regulations related to real estate transactions
