Job Posting: Registered Nurse Case Manager - Field Nurse Program
Sterling Medical is currently seeking dedicated Registered Nurse Case Managers to join our Field Nurse (FN) program, supporting the Department of Labor's Workers' Compensation initiatives. This role focuses on providing essential case management services to injured workers (IWs) under the FECA/LHWCA programs, primarily through remote operations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments of injured workers.
- Develop and implement individualized case management plans to facilitate timely return-to-work outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with FECA Medical Benefits Examiners (MBEs) and Employing Agencies (EAs) to ensure coordinated care throughout the claims process.
- Provide telephonic support and guidance to injured workers regarding medical appointments and treatment plans.
Additional Details:
- This position offers supplemental work opportunities that can be undertaken alongside existing commitments, providing flexibility in scheduling.
- Support rehabilitation efforts and contribute significantly to the successful return of injured workers to gainful employment.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland, DC, or Virginia.
- Experience in case management, preferably within workers' compensation or related fields.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
