Job Description
Charter Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking an individual to join our rapidly growing company. The candidate's purpose is to provide first and second level support within an educational setting (K-12). IT support will cover ares such as (but are not limited to): telephone, telecommunications, internet, computer hardware and software, network, and audio/visual equipment and the overall general health of the ticket system. Candidate will be subject to Michigan State Police Background Check and must posses a valid drivers license.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software
- Resolve issues for clients via phone, in person, or electronically
- Track customer issues and resolutions
- Consulting with other team members and technicians to resolve more complex issues
- Maintain attendance, punctuality, and a professional appearance
- Maintaining technology inventory and supporting documentation and processes
Professional Qualifications:
- 3yrs. Help Desk experience in IT, customer service, or other related fields
- 1yr. experience with Windows Server and Administration(DHCP, DNS AD)
- Bachelors or equivalent certification preferred
- Experience with supporting and maintaining PC hardware: RAM/HDD upgrades, general hardware failures.
- Knowledge to configure, support and troubleshoot mainstream desktop applications like MS Outlook & MS Office,GSuite, Office 365 GSuite etc.
- Basic Knowledge of network domains, add/remove network printers
- Working Knowledge of Standardized OS and Software Deployment Packages.
- Basic knowledge of networking required
- A+ Certification preferred, not required
- MCP Preferred

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $45,000.00 to $53,000.00 /year
