Lead Superintendent - Commercial Construction (Municipal and K-12)

Position Overview: We're seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our team and oversee construction projects primarily focused on Municipal and K-12 education facilities within the Dallas Fort Worth area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing all aspects of construction projects, from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Oversee all aspects of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that milestones and deadlines are achieved.
Site Supervision:
- Manage on-site construction activities, including subcontractor coordination, material deliveries, and site safety.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Address any issues or concerns that arise during construction, implementing solutions to keep the project on track.
Quality Assurance:
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure workmanship meets project specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct inspections and quality checks throughout the construction process, identifying and resolving any deficiencies promptly.
Safety Compliance:
- Promote a culture of safety on the construction site, ensuring that all workers and subcontractors adhere to safety regulations and procedures.
- Conduct safety meetings and training sessions to reinforce safety protocols and address any safety concerns.
Client Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, and as-built drawings.
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports to management, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and accomplishments.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction, with a focus on Municipal and K-12 education projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate and motivate project teams.
- Thorough understanding of construction processes, methods, and materials.
- Knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred).

Pay: $125,869.20 - $160,068.27 per year
