United Chemical Technology (UCT) was founded in 1986 by one of the pioneers of Solid Phase Extraction (SPE), Michael Telepchak, who is still active in the Company and in the field. UCT is a major competitor in the field of silica based phase extraction technology and silane manufacturing.
UCT is looking for a dynamic Inside Sales Coordinator who is ready to hit the ground running and assist our Sales team to take UCT to the next level. Please see below for some responsibilities and required education and experience for this position.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working both independently and as a team to provide administrative support, be adaptable and flexible in responding to a variety of requests and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external contacts.
Costing/Pricing/Registrations
- Complete cost sheets for new items as well as existing items to make sure our list prices are up to date.
- Work with product manager and purchaser to ensure that all costs are accurate.
- Update pricing in Sage database and price lists. Notify marketing of price changes for website.
- Update contract pricing in Sage.
- Update price lists for UCT items as well as OEM price lists
- Work with President on special pricing requests
- Maintain vendor/university registrations/assist accounting department as needed with paperwork completion.
- Complete registrations through bid websites.
- Other duties as required.
Products
- Complete new product forms as needed.
- Manage PPM tracker program; Prepare quotes for equipment repairs.
- Enter new part numbers and bill of materials into Sage.
Sales
- Communicate with customers in absence of a sales rep (PTO, etc.).
- Assist with sales meeting support.
- Update Price list Google Sheets document.
- Help manage Demo Trackers and Demo Returns
- Generate and send out quotes to the sales team.
- Upload Order confirmations to Pipeliner.
- Upload/keep updated new contact information to Pipeliner.
- Upload/ keep updated new account information to Pipeliner.
- Assist with generating Sage reports and keeping Sage updated from the sales team side.
- Researching and qualifying new leads; input into Pipeliner.
- Assist Sales Manager as needed.
- Upload/ keep updated new account information to Pipeliner.
Skills and Abilities
- Exceptional Microsoft Office Skills.
- Knowledge of Sage 300, preferred.
- Familiarity with Sales CRM database.
- Exceptional Organizational Skills.
- Capability to communicate effectively and maintain effective relationships with co-workers and customers.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Self-starter / self-motivator.
Education and Experience Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3-4 years’ experience as an Administrative Assistant
- 2+ years’ experience as an B2B Inside Sales Representative
