About This Position
ChristianaCare is searching for a Director, Organizational Development to align organizational development initiatives to drive ChristianaCare’s execution of business strategy and tactics. The Director will leverage the organizational outcomes and performance reporting of financial, engagement, patient satisfaction, efficiency, and quality metrics in establishing focused initiatives to develop individuals and teams in achieving organizational transformation. This position will also oversee organization-wide efforts to ensure that performance management and talent management programs are developed and managed using a data-driven focus that sets priorities for improvements aligned to ongoing strategic initiatives.
Some responsibilities include.....
Work with Executive level leaders to develop and execute a short and long-term OD vision and plan that helps ChristianaCare achieve its mission and goals and drive organizational design and change management processes through high performance and strong culture.
Align organizational development initiatives to drive ChristianaCare’s execution of business strategy and tactics.
Lead a team to ensure principles of change management, team development, education, adult learning, process improvement, innovation, leadership development, and talent management are embedded in all organizational development initiatives.
Develop the strategy and processes to consistently implement and manage the enterprise talent review process.
Assess the talent needs of critical business segments as well as the enterprise, and provide expertise to determine the development required to drive talent strategies.
Oversee all talent and development initiatives including, talent reviews, succession planning, career pathing & internal talent mobility.

Education and experience requirements:

Master’s degree in organizational development, industrial/organizational psychology, education or comparable field required.

10 years’ increasingly responsible experience in adult learning and/or organizational development in a fast-paced healthcare, consulting or corporate environment.

5 years of succession planning experience

Certifications in leadership assessments such as Hogan, HBDI, MBTI or Coaching
