Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pre-Op/PACU team. As a Pre-Op/PACU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients recovering from anesthesia after surgery. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. Duties: - Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their condition during the recovery phase - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians - Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth transition from the Pre-Op to the OR and the OR to PACU - Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding post-operative care - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records - Adhere to medical office standards and protocols Skills: - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment - Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills - Experience working with children in a healthcare setting is preferred - Proficient in airway management techniques - Familiarity with ICU procedures and protocols - Competence in administering injections and other medical procedures - Prior experience in surgical settings is a plus.
