Job Description Breakdown:Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Define, plan, and implement projects to enhance capabilities and efficiency in Kite’s cell therapy supply chain.
- Establish project team structure and resource requirements.
- Develop integrated project plans, identify interdependencies, and manage critical path activities.
- Communication and Reporting:
- Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders.
- Facilitate project meetings and maintain project documentation.
- Provide routine monthly reporting to key team members.
- Administrative Coordination:
- Coordinate project-related tasks such as scheduling meetings and maintaining team calendars.
- Ensure clear communication, documentation, and archival of project activities and decisions.
- Change Management and Sustainability:
- Champion change management principles to ensure successful adoption of project outcomes.
- Support post-project sustainment of changes introduced.
Requirements:
- Experience:
- 0 years with a PhD
- 6+ years with a Master’s degree
- 8+ years with a Bachelor’s degree
- 12+ years with a High School degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Change Management Experience:
- 5+ years in organizational or project change management for large-scale initiatives.
- Project Management Experience:
- 8+ years in a GxP environment preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification desired.
- Industry Experience:
- Experience in life sciences (cell/gene therapy, pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices) is advantageous.
- Skills:
- Deep understanding of project management processes and methodologies.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, Visio, and MS Office.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to manage complexity and engage stakeholders at all levels effectively.
