The NOW is seeking a highly skilled and creative eLearning Content Developer and LMS Manager to join our Learning and Development team. This role will focus on the creation of engaging and effective online/digital learning experiences, multimedia content development, and the management of our Learning Management System (LMS) to support our franchise and multi-brand business operations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Create Engaging and Effective Online/Digital Learning Experiences:
- Designs and develops training programs, curriculum, methods, and materials for various audiences, including employees, managers, customers, or other learners.
- Implement innovative and creative approaches to enhance the online learning experience.
- Conduct regular evaluations of eLearning content and make improvements based on feedback and analytics.
- Stay current with trends and advancements in eLearning technologies and methodologies.
- Consults and collaborates with subject matter experts to define learning objectives, gather content, and ensure accuracy and relevance to design appropriate courses and training curriculum.
- eLearning Content Development:
- Design, develop, and deploy interactive eLearning courses using Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, and other eLearning authoring tools.
- Develop assessments, quizzes, and interactive activities to enhance learner engagement and retention.
- Ensure all content is aligned with instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
- Multimedia Development:
- Create and edit video content for training purposes, including shooting, scripting, and post-production.
- Develop engaging multimedia assets such as graphics, animations, and simulations to support eLearning courses.
- Maintain high-quality standards for all multimedia content and ensure consistency with brand guidelines.
- LMS Management:
- Oversee the administration of the LMS, including user management, course uploads, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor and analyze LMS data to track learner progress and course effectiveness.
- Interfaces with the system vendor to resolve issues, enhance functionality, and deploy new features.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in eLearning content development and LMS management.
- Proficiency in Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, and other eLearning authoring tools.
- Experience with video shooting and editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Capcut, or similar.
- Strong graphic design skills and proficiency with tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and act on LMS data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a franchise or multi-brand business environment.
- Certification in eLearning development or instructional design.
- Familiarity with SCORM, AICC, and xAPI standards.
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript for eLearning content customization.
- Experience managing an LMS platform.
Compensation + Benefits:
- Pay Range: $80,000-$100,000 annually
