We are currently seeking a full time Accounts Receivables Manager position. This is a salaried position with full benefits and works Monday-Friday, no weekends, no holidays. Previous experience with billing is required. See below for more information.
Job Summary: Performs Medicare, Medicaid, Medicaid Waiver, Managed Care, Insurance Companies, Private Pay, and Medicaid Pending billing, follow-up and collections for SPRC and GLRC as assigned by CFO. Collects overdue patient accounts in a courteous manner. Reviews uncollected patient balances and determines actions, which can be taken to ensure payment. Recommends change of patient bill status from active to inactive when inability to pay has been clearly established. Assists with Medicaid eligibility and follow-up and social security and retirement income representative payee process as assigned. Maintains confidentiality of client information at all times. Follows all policy and procedures of SPRC and GLRC. Work closely with Accounts Receivables Manager and CFO and payor source representatives. Performs credentialing for health care providers of the facilities. Assists in charge entering and data entering at home office as assigned. Performs any other duties as assigned.
Responsibility For: Billing and follow-up on client AR accounts and credentialing of health care providers. Responsibilities include but are not limited to verification of insurance information, primary and secondary insurance billing, accurate and timely billing and follow up of assigned accounts, accurate data entry, credentialing completion and coordination, data entering and other duties as assigned.
Supervision: The Receivables Assistant is directly responsible to the CFO.
Education and Experience: Must be a high school graduate or have a GED. A background curriculum concentration in business courses, math and English preferred. Computer knowledge required. Must be knowledgeable in working with a computer, calculator, excel, with insurance forms and computer programs.
