OVERVIEW:

SUMMARY OF JOB:
Functions to dispense, compound, control, advise, distribute, process and coordinate the medication requirements for the treatment of adult, geriatric, pediatric and neonatal inpatients and outpatients in compliance with legal, regulatory and professional standards.
RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy with a minimum of the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree. Registered or eligible for registration by the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy. In good standing in regards to any violations of State Board rules and regulations. Experience in an acute care inpatient healthcare facility is beneficial. Work schedule requires ability to rotate shifts and includes weekends and holidays. Assignment of responsibilities is variable and will change to meet the service requirements of the facility.
