We are seeking a dedicated front office staff at Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Solutions, a mental health group that provides individualized treatment for children, adolescents, and families. We are looking for a long-term employee to fill a position in an upbeat, fast-paced office.
We are hiring for a full-time position: Compensation will be discussed upon interview.
Front Office Responsibilities:
Answer phone calls
Register and schedule patients
Respond to patient needs, requests and other inquiries through email and by phone
Confirm phone and online appointments
Inter-office communication - record requests, referrals, etc.
Assist with inventory management
Greet patients upon arrival
Collect payment for services
Verify insurance and authorizations
Collect payment from patients
File, fax, copy, scan
Maintain office environment
Utilize and be proficient with electronic health records
Complete prior authorizations
Intake Coordinator Responsibilities:
Answer/return calls/emails to new patient’s inquiries
Schedule new patients / Create and maintain confidential records and files.
Call with initial appointment reminders.
Verify insurance eligibility and authorization for client’s
Perform data entry to in practice fusion for new patient forms and insurance information, along with billing records, explanation of benefits and sessions.
Check and review that all demographic information is up to date (addresses, cards on file)
Collect recorded mental health scales and scores.
Send, collect, and upload new patient documents.

- Create a profile in practice suite.
- Links for virtual appointments
Outside Referrals- Family Based referrals. / IOP /PHP
Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to quickly build rapport with patients
Maintain a high sense of urgency at all times
Essential requirements:
- PA Child Abuse History Clearance (completed pre-hire)
- Criminal History Clearance (completed pre-hire)
- Charismatic and effective communication skills
- Proficient computer knowledge and application - including MS office suite, email communications and EHR software
- Previous experience in a small medical office or private practice, mental health experience preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
