State Labor Organization seeks full-time Receptionist/Admin Assistant for downtown Albany location. The successful candidate will have an associate degree or higher, a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an office setting, or equivalent combination, and strong computer and communication skills.
Duties include:
- Operate Multi-Line telephone system to answer incoming calls and direct callers appropriately
- Welcome visitors and maintain security and privacy by directing visitors
- Answer questions related to the organization location, address/directions, fax
- Coordinate with other staff for ordering, receiving, and organizing office supplies
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail
- Maintain daily log of incoming checks
- Filing, photocopying, collating, and other clerical and administrative duties needed to support the office
- Correspondence and communication with statewide labor organizations
- Professional work habits and demeanor with excellent work attendance required
- Administrative and clerical support for annual fundraising events and bi-annual convention
- Create files, faxes, memos, correspondence, scans, other documents as needed
- Other administrative duties to support the office
