Job Summary:
The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatic circuitry to support production schedules.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Assembles machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic circuitry, and more according to directions.

Reads blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, and builds to those specifications.

Uses various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned task.

Maintains logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies.

Inventories tools, parts, and supplies; contacts materials handler if supplies are needed.

Periodically checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolves any identified problems and alerts supervisor.

Maintain a safe clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Commitments and Location:

Permanent Full-Time Role Based in Dixon, IL

Day Shift: Monday-Thursday 6:30 am- 5:00pm
Benefits Include:
Pay Range of $20.25 - $26.33
Productivity Bonus, paid quarterly. Average 2022 payout was $3/hour. Payouts are based on overall company profitability, and attendance
$500 sign on bonus, paid after 90 days of employment

Requirements:
Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.

Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment.

Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.
Education and Experience:

1-year mechanical experience
Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.

Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at a time.

Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.

Must wear safety glasses.
