SUMMARY
Responsible for effectively procuring and verifying components from the Warehouse for specific orders that will run on the Production floor. These procured components will then need to be effectively loaded into the appropriate rooms by the Material Handling position. Proper written Batch Record entries (i.e. Lot numbers, quantities, expiration dating) and QAD transactions are also required. At each order’s completion, the Material Handling position is required to assist in the line clearances and perform the proper written and electronic transactions reflecting said clearances. This position is also responsible for proper maintenance of inventory transactions and the levels of floor stock inventories. The position is also required to maintain orderliness of all inventories staging areas as well as the building in general.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Proper planning is required to review components and products needed in production staging areas daily for production use.
Performs a combination of the following duties to request the movement of material within plant and warehouse operations to keep packaging lines running.
Perform inventory cycle counts and make necessary corrections to inventory levels on a regular basis to floor stock.
Effectively document time out of refrigeration in applicable batch records and assist in training of Material Handlers on each of these specified requirements.
Maintain organization of all staging areas and production lay downs assigned.
Assist Supervisors with daily assignments of Material Handlers and coordinate required weekend schedules.
Generates, verifies, and applies bar code labels to raw material and finished product pallets per SOP/WRKI requirements.
Reviews work orders to determine what products and components are needed to be ordered during the day or next shift to prevent production downtime.
Checks and inspects materials for damages prior to supplying and stocking production lines with products and components required at the beginning of each shift to allow production to run without down time.
Removes and transfers finished product and components from production lines and transports to appropriate location in warehouse for storage and or shipment.
Check all components and products for accuracy and completeness, such as matching labels with products packaged, lots numbers, description and quantities produced and used in accordance to GMP procedures.
Attaches and verifies that all labels placed on materials or components are marked with the correct information required per SOP/WRKI.
Reports on any issues pertaining to out-of-stock or QA hold components not readily available to fulfill production needs immediately to supervisor or manager.
Sends email requests to warehouse personnel daily to order all components and products needed through QAD warehouse management system for daily production needs.
Performs accurate and timely computer transactions in QAD or RF equipment as needed to perform daily tasks associated with materials management.
Verifies all components and products are palletized, shrink wrapped or banded for transport by either manual or electric pallet jacks.
May secure finished product to pallet, using strapping or shrink wrap to prevent damage during transportation or shipping.
Reads work order or follows oral instructions to assure materials and components are removed from production lines and staged for the next run after room sanitation is completed.
Preforms cycle counts on floor stock to maintain accurate inventory levels for production use.
Keeps work area and aisles clean, disposing of trash, shrink wrap and cardboard according to company procedures.

Requirements:
Completes all necessary training prior to completing shipping or receiving tasks assigned in Veeva Quality One Management System.
Ensure warehouse and workstation are kept clean, neat, and orderly, at all times.
Provide suggestions and improvements for work related processes and procedures.
Completes PIT Training and Certification prior to operating any equipment if assigned.
Required to work in cold rooms temperatures of (2-8©) as necessary.
Verifies daily no corrections are required to batch records.
Properly assist and support coworkers when needed.
Willingness to follow company safety policies.
Ability to work overtime if necessary.
