The EJOT ATF IT Support Specialist plays a critical role in providing end-user support, service, and delivery of company-supported computer applications, platforms, and equipment. They proactively troubleshoot problems to ensure that they are effectively resolved and do not reoccur.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, or electronically
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
- Redirect problems to appropriate resource if unable to assist, and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
- Prepare weekly status reports
- Stay current with system information, changes, updates, and warranties
- Monitoring logs and various system activities including nightly backup jobs
- Prepare and setup user workstations
- Monitor and setup electronic data interchange (EDI) communications
- Basic network troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repairs
- Troubleshooting of Apple and Android mobile devices
- Maintaining thin client computers and IoT based handheld scanners
- Responsible for ordering IT related equipment and consumables.

Familiarity using the following:
- Windows Server, Client, IoT, and Embedded operating systems (required)
- Windows Active Directory management, Group policy principals of operation (required)
- Basic Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, Teams, Sharepoint, OneDrive, Endpoint required)
- VMWare, Veeam, Barracuda, Cortex XDR, RSA
- Helpdesk ticketing processing (Freshdesk)
- Enterprise applications, Epicor CMS, QAD MQ1, Salesforce
- Manufacturing applications and environment
- 1-2 years IT Support experience required
- Bilingual (Fluent in Spanish – speaking, writing and reading)
