We are seeking a Parking Attendant to assist in supporting the needs of our client, the Centers for Disease Control. The responsibilities of the Parking Attendant are to distribute parking validations as directed by the CDC Traffic Manager. The ideal candidate is a strong self-starter with previous experience in a customer service setting and strong attention to detail.
Principal Duties:

Respond to Calls and Emails
-
Data entry, records management, accurately enter and transfer data to the electronic database capturing:
- Vehicle Permit Information
- Parking Violations and suspensions
- Permit registration and issuance, and tracking
- Input data and ensure the accuracy of information in automated data bases and documents daily to provide accurate information and reports weekly.
- Perform parking assessments and reviews. Verify quarterly reports are developed and distributed as required.
- Ensure requested reports provide accurate information to support management needs.
- Process and verifies applicant information for various parking programs daily.

Monitor/manage group mailbox(es) and phone line. Respond to personnel inquiries related to parking permits and vehicle violation records daily.
- Compose and type routine correspondence, both draft and final form per instructions of the Team Lead or Parking Services Supervisor.
- Maintain a record system; label, file, destroy and archive IAW CDC Records Control Schedule and National Archives requirements
- Attend scheduled meetings, participate in scheduled conference calls, respond to phone calls, and perform administrative duties.
- Update and maintain accurate drawings and inventories of parking facilities (garages and lots)

Provide Data for:

Weekly report of mailbox(es) and phone inquiries and status of action (complete, pending, in progress).
- Daily and weekly report of parking violations issued.
- Monthly summary report of parking violations tracked by campus, by violation category and notifications as required to personnel, supervisors, management officials per SOP.

Monthly report of permits processed and registration category by type and campus.

Quarterly Summary report of parking assessments conducted per campus facility deck(s) and lot(s)- as scheduled by month and annual end of year.

Provide a quarterly and annual review of tasks completed.
- Provide an annual review of activities and assessment of performance.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: This job requires work to be completed in a office setting using standard office. All personnel shall be attired in business casual clothing for daily work. Attire worn should always ensure employees safety from working conditions (long pants, appropriate shirts and close toe shoes)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must portray a professional business attire including closed toe shoes. The employee must always keep the safety of government property secured and undamaged. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 50 pounds.
Minimum Qualifications:

At least 18 years of age

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Ability to verbally communicate with guests

Previous experience in Quality Customer Service

Tech savvy data entry using various monitoring systems for items such as parking violations and reports

Previous experience as a security, parking attendant, valet or related position
