Overview:
Abacus is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Generator Service Manager to oversee our generator department. As the Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management, planning, and execution of the department's activities. This includes leading a team of professionals, developing and implementing strategic initiatives, and ensuring the department meets its financial and operational goals.

Responsibilities:
What Will I Do?

Review and manage key financial KPI’s through compiling data from multiple sources to confirm the department is competitive and profitable.

Review all jobs to spot any improvement, coaching or changes needing addressing.

Reviewing, updating, or writing procedures and policies needed for efficiency.

Plan for growth utilizing historic and current data to forecast growth.

Remain in consistent communication with leaders, peers, and staff to ensure company values are adhered to.

Collaborate with operations manager to develop long-term plans, objectives, and policies for the department.

Build and maintain relationships with key customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for business growth.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance department’s performance and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Requirements:

Proven experience in a senior management role within the generator or power generation industry

Strong understanding of generator products, services, and market dynamics

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans

Proven track record of achieving business targets and driving operational excellence

Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and lead by example

Looking for candidates who are Generac or Kohler certified.

Solar experience preferred.
