Electrical Project Manager is responsible for all financial reporting on project(s), in addition to tracking and projecting of all labor, material, job expenses, and changes. They will also oversee budgeting, monthly financial projections, creation of job specific schedule of values which maintains positive cash flow, and will create, submit, and manage all submittals throughout the project(s).
Responsibilities:
Pre-construction planning activities including: in-depth review of project for schedule creation, selection of sub-contractors, vendors, and finalizing cost estimate
Kick-off meetings with sub-contractors and vendors
Schedule of sub-contractors
Participate in project meetings
Manage financial aspects of contracts including progress billing, rental equipment, income/expense tracking, and budget updates to protect the interests of the company
Coordination with Project Superintendent/Foreman daily to provide coaching and monitor project productivity
Issue releases for buyout materials
Negotiate and resolve issues related to Change Orders, Requests for Information, and Contract Scope of work in a timely manner
Manage all closeout procedures including: documentation, filing, record drawings, construction cost input, follow-up, and team debriefing
Maintain rapport with architects, engineers, and general contractors to ensure quality of service and long-term relationships
Oversight and directing of project(s) from conception to completion
Qualifications:
Proven work experience in electrical construction management with minimum five years of electrical project management experience; specific experience with commercial and multi-family construction required
Strong budget tracking, labor tracking, and scheduling skills
Advanced knowledge of project estimating, building projects, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards
Exceptional computer skills
Ability to multi-task in fast-paced, high volume, work environment
Requirements:
