Essential Job Duties:
- Performs repairs and preventive maintenance on hospital systems and equipment.
- Monitors, tests, inspects and performs other assigned tasks in support of utility management program.
- Inspects, services and schedules maintenance in support of the hospital's vehicle fleet.
- Performs assigned duties to maintain and upkeep hospital buildings and grounds.
Qualifications:
- General maintenance knowledge and skills demonstrated in previous Experience.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Licensure:
- Current Virginia driver's licensure with a good driving record.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to meet the basic health requirements of the hospital without restrictions
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Weights above 50 pounds are to be done with assistance.
- Must possess physical stamina to shift, lift and move equipment and supplies.
- Position requires dexterity, good vision, ability to walk, stoop, bend, push and pull.
