Pangaea Grill is looking for a Server/Mixologist!
Job Description:
The Mixologist will prepare and serve high-quality cocktails, wine, and beer to our guests in a professional and courteous manner. The ideal candidate will be passionate about mixing and serving alcohol, have excellent customer service skills, and be able to work well in a team environment.
Essential Mixologist Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare cocktails for guests at our bar and private event seating areas.
- Greet guests and take orders in a professional manner.
- Stock bar inventory with the necessary supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including the work space, glassware, utensils, and other tools.
- Stock all equipment appropriately.
- Clean equipment.
- Stock cooler and refrigerator appropriately.
- Ensure that food and beverage orders are properly stocked.
- Prepare orders according to the guest’s preferences or specific request.
- Stock cooler and refrigerator appropriately.
- Serve alcoholic beverages to guests at our bar area only if there are no other suitable alternatives available at the time. If serving drinks is not an option at the time, then prepare non-alcoholic beverages appropriately for guests to enjoy together (e.g., beer).
Essential Server Duties & Responsibilities:
- Welcoming and sitting diners comfortably in the dining section
- Taking customers’ food and drink orders
- Collaborating with the kitchen and bar staff for prompt and correct delivery of orders
- Memorizing the menu and recommend appetizers, meals and drinks from restaurant wine stock
- Delivering a memorable dining experience by resolving all customer issues promptly
- Assisting with the tidying of tables, clearing leftovers and keeping the dining area neat and pleasant
- Setting tables and rearranging the dining area to accommodate larger groups and prepare the restaurant for special events
- Ensuring cooking utensils and kitchen area are cleaned after closing to comply with state regulations
Qualifications:Must Have Valid Food Handler’s Certification. Must be able to stand for 10 hours in a row. Must be able to lift 30 lbs. Must be able to work late hours.
