We are assisting a global manufacturing organization with their search for Senior HR Manager to their Bay City, TX plant. Roughly 200 employees at the site. The role would supervise an HR generalist and HR assistant.
The schedule is four - 10 hour days.
A strong HR background to the industrial sector would be preferred. A strong background with HR strategy and process improvements would be ideal.
Comp on this is roughly 90-115K with extensive benefits.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Oversee the full recruitment and onboarding process, including talent acquisition, interviewing, and selection
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations, including FMLA and other leave policies
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and fairness across the organization
- Conduct training sessions on various HR topics, such as diversity and inclusion, harassment prevention, and performance management
- Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop workforce planning strategies
- Oversee payroll administration and ensure accurate and timely processing of employee compensation
- Lead strategic planning initiatives to support organizational growth and development
- Collect and analyze HR data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process improvement
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations
- Experience with HRIS systems such as ADP would be preferred.
- Proven ability to negotiate effectively and resolve complex employee relations issues
- Experience in talent acquisition, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and data-driven decision making
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization
