```Job Summary:```
We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor to join our team. As a Licensed Counselor, you will provide counseling services to individuals, (if desired) couples, and/or groups experiencing mental health challenges. Your role will involve assessing clients' needs, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to promote emotional well-being and personal growth for first responders.
```Responsibilities:```
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients' mental health needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clients' goals and needs
- Provide counseling services using evidence-based therapeutic approaches, CBT, CPT, EMDR, Exposure
- Facilitate individual and/or couples/ group therapy sessions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for clients
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards
-Complete progress notes in reasonable time period
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field of mental health counseling
- Provide crisis intervention services as needed
```Qualifications:```
- Master's degree in Counseling or social work
- Current state licensure as a Professional Counselor or social work
- Experience working with trauma
- Knowledge of PTSD, alcohol abuse, anxiety and depression
- Proficiency in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans
- Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and interventions
- Familiarity with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), CPT, Exposure, DBT, and EMDR and other evidence-based practices
- Ability to provide addiction counseling and support for individuals with substance use disorders
- Experience in case management and coordinating care with other healthcare providers
- Ability to provide trauma-informed care for individuals experiencing PTSD
