The Admissions Assistant will be a Christian whose role supports the Admissions team, often the first point of contact for prospective families as well as visitors on campus. This person represents the school to both internal and external guests. He or she must be a mature Christian who also agrees with The First Academy philosophies, vision, and mission statement. This position is a full-time, 12-month, hourly position.
Essential Job Functions:
- Work collaboratively with Admissions Team to continuously refine and refresh Admissions initiatives and processes to ensure the highest level of teamwork, customer service, and mission-driven enrollment
- Provide superior customer service for prospective families and their students throughout the Admissions process and visitors on campus
- Provide superior customer service and serve as the first, welcoming face and point of contact for Admissions (school sales team) and visitors to the campus
- Filter inquiries for strong, mission appropriate tours and potential enrollees
- Daily communication, management, and follow-up with prospective families via phone calls, emails, and texts
- Provide front desk coverage and administrative duties for the Admissions team
- Schedule/track tours, handle calendar management, meeting coordination
- Data input/tracking for inquiries, tours, enrollments, and events
- Prepare tour packets
- Campus tours as needed
- Daily communication with team members via meetings, email, and phone
- Assist with Admission Event planning and data tracking, and attend Admissions events
- Organize and execute Open House events
- Input/track emails for soft email campaign, Royal Reach Reward
- Ongoing growth mentality with professional development and benchmark school outreach
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Admissions
- Input and Track TFA Family Admissions Referral Incentive
- Assist with the New Family Onboarding Process
- Order and maintain supplies
- Holiday Front Desk Coverage Schedule
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Your service at The First Academy is a ministry. In your ministry role, it is imperative that you understand the importance of embracing a Christian Worldview and being an ambassador for the Gospel. The Baptist Faith and Message of 2000, The First Baptist Church of Orlando, and the School’s Statement of Faith outlined in Article III of its By-laws are the guidelines of Biblical interpretation and application to social and lifestyle issues at The First Academy. - Evidence of a mature personal Christian faith consistent with the First Academy Statement of Faith including being a born again Christian, active Church member, exhibiting a close personal walk with Jesus Christ: modeling an exemplary Biblical lifestyle and evidencing maturity in the understanding of sound Biblical principles.
- Bachelor’s Degree, or higher, preferred.
- Admissions, Marketing, and/or Sales experience preferred.
- Skilled in Google Office Suite applications.
- A love and calling to work and serve students and families in a Christ- centered education.
- Ability to articulate the vision and mission of The First Academy.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
