Job Requirements
- Proven cooking experience as a line chef, restaurant or prep cook.
- Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
- Familiar with industry’s best practices.
- Reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Set-up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
- Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat or preparing sauces).
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Answer and report to and follow chef’s instructions.
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food.
- Stock inventory appropriately.
- Ensure high-quality food comes out simultaneously and in a timely fashion.
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Communicate with other staff around meal progression, guest needs and potential issues.
- Be a team player, problem solve and jump-in and help where it’s needed.
- Follow established guidelines for set up and breakdown of meal service.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
