Part-time Opening for a Reliable Male Personal Trainer/Strength Coach (Brooklyn, NY)
Opening our doors in 1982, The Sephardic Community Center has grown into a community staple. Recently undergoing a state-of-the-art renovation just a few years ago, the center has truly become a beautiful place to work. Our facility caters to a close-community of driven and influential men and women who visit our fitness center seeking guidance towards achieving their fitness goals.
The Center is looking to have a knowledgeable, reliable, and friendly, personal trainer to join our team and work with our members in our state-of-the-art fitness facility featuring, an impressive weight section, turf space, and over 20+ cardio machines.
This is a wonderful opportunity to work alongside a team of talented trainers and clients who are eager for change and growth. This part-time position offers a combination of very competitive floor hour rates (ranging from $17.50 - $20.00) PLUS approx. 50% commission on all personal training sessions booked. (Among the highest leading commission rates, you can find locally.)
Our members range from young high school and college students, young influential adults, and seniors. Our staff creates a fun and friendly culture surrounding hard work and no nonsense. We accomplish this by providing our members with accurate answers, creating social media content, instructing them on proper form, and guiding them to the finish line.
The available hours for the position are:
· Weekday afternoons into evenings shifts
· Early Friday mornings into the afternoon.
· Sunday afternoons into evenings (starting in September).
· Saturday nights (seasonally).

Responsibilities include:
- Facility supervision
- Client acquisition
- Assisting members and clients with exercises and demonstrating proper form
- Assuring that members follow facility rules
Qualifications required:
· Valid personal training certification
· Experience in the field.
· Must understand how to motivate various types of clients.
