Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments
- Assist with dental administrative support tasks, such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Provide excellent patient service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
Experience:
- Bilingual Spanish speaking is a must
- Previous experience working in a dental office setting is a must
- Familiarity with dental scheduling software, such as Dentrix or eClinicalWorks, is a plus
- Proficiency in using office equipment, including phone systems and computers
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information
