Compensation Range: $90,000.00 - 100,000.00. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Functional Overview: Contributes to the design, development, and testing of products through circuit board design, cable design, and system development. Applies mathematical and engineering principles and methods to electrical product and system designs. Works directly with more senior engineers to develop new designs and solutions. Works directly with engineering support resources to prototype and test new designs and solutions. Independently manages technology efforts of small to medium scale cross-departmental projects, occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.
Responsibilities:
- PCB design (circuit board design)
- Cable design
- Research and development
- Technical testing and troubleshooting
- Electronic testing design
- Assures product quality
- Works collaboratively with other design team members
- Proposes modifications and re-tests products
- Builds models and prototypes
Qualifications:
Education - Bachelor's degree of Electrical Engineering or other relevant engineering field.
Experience - Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience.
General Skills
· PCB Layout for circuit board design (Altium preferred)
· 2D CAD for Illustrating wiring diagrams and cable assemblies per IPC-A-620
· Test and Measurement techniques for electronics
· Understanding of applicable UL standards for amusement and gaming machines.
· Ability to read design specifications and technical drawings.
· Competent in technical report and specification writing with minimal supervision and guidance.
· Able to work independently in problem solving & analysis applying standard engineering techniques.
· Display discipline to fully document problem statement, observations, conclusions, calculations, and recommendations as well as sound problem-solving skills
