SUMMARY JOB DESCRIPTION
The qualified candidate actively engages with various members in the real estate department to ensure overall department organization, budget and expense creation and analysis, find and create efficient processes and further enhance the Company’s investment goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
The qualified candidate will:
- have a minimum of 2 years’ experience preferably in commercial real estate analytics,
- have a demonstrated history of personal pride in projects under their care,
- have a professional and friendly work disposition,
- act decisively within the scope of their authority and budgetary constraints, and
- exercise excellent judgment and problem-solving skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with various members of the real estate department, and complete work projects as assigned, which will include, but not limited to, the following:
Real Estate Department Management
- Assist with annual budgets
- Annual tenant reconciliations
- Expense analysis
- Property tax organization and protests
- Project file management
- Process improvement
- Work order process management
- Real estate software & lease updates
- Insurance policy administration and allocation
- Vendor management and new vendor development.
- Parking lot and roof schedules, warranty information
- Office improvement projects
- Equipment life cycles (HVAC, Water heaters, etc.
Physical Condition Oversight
- Site visits to Dallas, Austin, Beaumont
- Property condition audits and budget input
On call
- Property Management Analyst will serve as a backup to maintenance personnel on the call-down list 24/7 for all Genecov properties
Teamwork
- Any other duties or tasks assigned by Supervisor
WORKING CONDITIONS
- 75% of work time is spent in the office.
- Required to lift 25 pounds.
- Office hours are Monday thru Friday 7:30am – 4:30pm
