The Line Cook holds a crucial position in a kitchen, responsible for the preparation and cooking of food items by maintaining the efficiency, quality and overall success of the kitchen. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and executing menu items with precision and consistency, contributing to the overall success of our restaurant.
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces.
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen team.
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety standards and sanitation regulations.
- Monitor food levels and replenish supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff and chefs to ensure seamless coordination during service hours.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering as required.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the assigned kitchen station, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Time Management. Excellent time management skills to ensure dishes are prepared and served in a timely manner.
- Culinary Skills and Experience. Proven experience as a Line Cook in a similar restaurant environment
- Food Safety Knowledge. In-depth understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Communication skills. It is important to clearly communicate and be in constant contact with kitchen management and other kitchen staff to relay any issues that arise throughout service
- Team Player. Collaborative mindset, willing to work closely with other kitchen staff to achieve common goals.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem Solving. Quick decision-making and problem-solving skills to address issues that arise during service.
- Continuous Training. Growth is vital for every employee. Team members must be open to coaching and must welcome constructive correction from management.

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
