Shining Star Therapy Services, LLC is currently seeking a certified RBT to join our team. We provide speech, occupational, and behavioral therapies as well as feeding therapy to children from birth to age twenty-one. We offer therapy in a play based, fun environment and work closely with parents and caregivers to maximize rehabilitation potential. Applicants with a strong pediatric background and experience with a variety of developmental delays is a plus. We offer competitive pay, flexible hours and a fun working environment.
RBT's will be working alongside speech and occupational therapists; therefore, regular meetings and coordination with a client’s other therapists will be necessary. The RBT will be working one on one with a client in a clinic setting, and BCBAs will be available to support the RBT and client during sessions. BCBAs will follow BACB guidelines to provide efficient supervision for the RBT for all clients.
Responsibilities:
- Attain and maintain yearly RBT competencies while employed with the clinic.
- Provide 1:1 direct service with a client under direct supervision of a BCBA.
- Complete clients’ programs to run appropriate targets and reinforcement schedules throughout sessions.
- Implement and follow clients’ behavior plans and appropriate teaching strategies as the BCBA has directed.
- Coordinate with the entire team of therapists across all departments.
- Provide recommendations for staff development to ensure employees are receiving the most relevant training.
- Aid the BCBA in programming trainings in order to assist in client specific programming and assessments.
