Assistant Business Office Manager
South Mountain Post Acute, a 5 Star Medicare Rated Skilled Nursing Facility, is looking for a Assistant Business Office Manager that has the abilities and desire to become the Business Office Manager.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
As Assistant BOM, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties. The position focuses on the billing of all payor classes.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the generation and submission of all insurance and Medicaid claims
- Collection and follow-up on insurance and Medicaid claims
- File Grievances/Appeals as necessary
- Post cash
- Completes in-service trainings as required
- All other duties as assigned
EDUCATION:
Must possess a high-school diploma or its equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
- Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in insurance billing/collections, preferably in a SNF setting.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Must be able to understand and carry out written and oral instructions
- PCC (Point Click Care) experience preferred but not required.

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
