We are searching for a Senior Project Manager — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. The Senior Project Manager - Business Planning will be supporting the Planning & Insights Team within the Texas Children's Innovation Hub where they will provide strategy support for the overall Texas Children's System as well as individual service line departments. The Senior Project Manager will collaborate with operational and clinical leadership, supporting strategic planning, business development, and market and competitor analysis. This individual will conduct complex data analyses and assemble executive-level presentations to deliver key insights that will allow Texas Children's leaders to make data driven decisions.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Manages multiple complex projects. Manages projects delegated by leadership including, but not limited to, business planning and development, strategic planning, financial analysis, development of affiliations and contracts, medical staffing, facilities planning and construction, and operations planning and development. Coordinates resources needed for completion of assigned projects. Includes managing and coordinating data, information and/or personnel. Manages the completion of projects/assessments. Monitors progress against plan and budget. When necessary, adjusts plan with approval of project sponsors. Maintains regular communication with project stakeholders regarding progress of project/assessment. Analyzes issues and data related to projects and presents findings to leadership for effective decision-making. Presents recommendations orally and in writing in a clear, concise format. Follow-up during and after assignments to evaluate the effectiveness of the project. Serves as lead and point-person for long-term projects as requested.
- Performs a variety of duties to support areas of responsibilities. Coordinates team goal preparation and writing; coordinates the tracking of progress and reports updates to executive leadership quarterly. Performs work assignments as needed to ensure continuity of services, e.g., provide coverage in a vacancy or similar situation. Suggests and initiates improvements to team processes, when possible, to improve efficiency, and communication between work teams. Participates in team meetings and decisions.
- Provides services internal and external requiring a high level of project management and operations expertise. Actively participates in task forces and director-level committees; represents leadership or any of their areas of responsibility on multidisciplinary teams. Consults with and provides guidance to senior leaders on issues that cross multiple departments within areas of responsibility; involves others within these areas as needed. Participates in strategic planning and the development and refinement of joint initiates between TCH and various other healthcare related institutions as needed.
Skills & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or other related healthcare, business, or science field.
- A Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or other related healthcare, business, or science field may substitute for two years of relevant work experience.
- 5 years of relevant work experience, including two (2) years of experience managing medium to large-sized projects.
Strong analytical and communication background and SQL highly preferred
