Network Engineer
Rubin & Rothman, LLC
Maintains the integrity, reliability, and performance of the existing network as well as developing new designs to support the future growth of the network; responsible for the configuration, operation, and administration of network server hardware, operating systems, and communications links.
- Maintaining computer networks including mainframes, VPNs, routers, and other physical hardware
- Installing and configuring network equipment
- Creating firewalls and updating virus protection software and data security systems to keep data and communications protected
- Monitoring computer systems to improve network performance for all systems.
- Troubleshooting, resolving, and communicating networking issues to other employees and management
- Implementing disaster recovery procedures
- Maintaining current knowledge and understanding of security and networking best practices to offer the best solutions and protection to company systems
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in related field or equivalent.
- Four to six years related experience or equivalent.
- Must possess working knowledge of and direct experience with network design and troubleshooting, routing, bridging, and gateways.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytic skills
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member of various teams and committees
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
