Role Summary
Modutecture Technologies is looking for a Financial Accounting Manager to build the team. This role plays a critical role and provides information, primarily financial in nature, about all company activities that will assist management, its shareholders and other users in making educated decisions about the company's future.
Responsibilities
- Manage the activities of the corporate accounting department, generating accurate and timely financial reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements and annual audits and annual budgets.
- Manage accounts payable, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of purchase orders, petty cash, employee expense reports, cash control, payroll processing and tax compliance.
- Manage accounts receivable to ensure the accurate and timely processing of all accounts receivable aging components including billings, cash receipts application, etc.
- Assure corporate income tax compliance to assure the accurate and timely completion of all corporate income tax returns taking full advantage of all favorable tax codes.
- Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports.
- Communicate and collaborate with co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner.
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated experience in successfully delivering projects on time with high quality
- 5-10 years as a proven leader in finance or accounting
- CPA or equivalent certification
- Experience in Architecture, Engineering, and/or Construction projects is a plus
- Proficient in best accounting practices and accounting software
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
