Position Summary:
Senior Enterprise Account Executive, Acquisition Accounts
Annual Base Salary: $80K - $120K plus Commission
The Senior Enterprise Account Executive, Acquisition Accounts, is a key member of the IMPEX Technologies team that generates revenue in net new to IMPEX Technologies commercial enterprise and SLED accounts in the Southern California region of the United States.
A successful Senior Account Executive, Acquisition Accounts is an individual that can depend on their own skills and properly utilize the resources we provide you to listen and capture key information to recommend and explain the technical advantages of IT solutions to solve business problems. You must be comfortable discussing technology with a CIO or VP of IT, IT security with a CISO, the financial advantages with a CFO, the business advantages with a CEO and the purchasing and logistic advantages with a senior procurement executive. In the same day potentially work with system administrators to shape meaningful solutions that meet the customer’s business needs and eliminate business issues. The highest level of customer satisfaction is what we strive for and is vital to driving success in this role.
This position is a hybrid role. Senior Enterprise Account Executives are expected to work from the IMPEX Technologies headquarters, El Segundo CA, when they are not in front of prospects, customers, partners and alliances or attending industry or networking events. Working from home on occasion is an option that can be discussed. The major components of this role are in-person account prospecting and customer meetings to qualify and close business in your assigned territory. To qualify for these positions, candidates are required to reside in the territory they are assigned. Current open territories are Orange County, Los Angeles County, and Inland Empire counties of Southern California.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting new accounts to solicit sales and exceed revenue and margin targets by working closely with IMPEX Technologies teams. Including Inside Sales, Pre-Sales Systems Engineers, Solutions Architects, Implementation Engineers our Outbound Marketing team and industry leading Information Technology manufacturer partners. Our key partners include, but are not limited to, AWS, Cisco, Dell, HPE, Microsoft Azure, Nutanix, Pure Storage, Rubrik and other complementary partners.
- Articulate the value and advantages of IMPEX Technologies and our expert capabilities in managing a complex sale.
- Ability to develop and manage sales strategies that define consistent goals, tactics, and metrics to take opportunities from their infancy to closure in a timely manner.
- Execute and manage successful territory and account plans that maximize revenue and margin while keeping our prospects and customers elated with IMPEX Technologies solutions and services.
- Experience with Salesforce.com and the ability to forecast accurately while maintaining excellent Sales Force hygiene.
- Create, grow, and manage a significant sales pipeline to consistently move a substantial number of strategic opportunities through the sales cycle to closure.
- Perform GAP analysis regularly to ensure target revenue and margin requirements are met.
- Ability to eliminate client’s business issues and enhance clients desired outcomes with the deployment of new or enhanced IT business solutions.
- Build and maintain a matrix end-user sales approach with multiple account entry points and strategic relationships with influential executives and technical decision makers.
- Proactively manage and participate in pre-sale and post-sale technical team activities to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction.
- Build rapport, trust, and dependability to position yourself as a Trusted-Advisor to your prospects and clients.
- Leverage marketing materials, email campaigns, social media, and networking events to build brand awareness with prospects, customers, and channel partners
- Build, manage and leverage relationships with channel partners to position yourself as the go-to-person they can depend on as they build their customer base.
- Be the CEO of your business. Serve as a positive, dynamic leader and team player, who demonstrates the best work ethic, creative problem-solving skills, positive attitude, delegation, and sales leadership.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Typically requires 4 to 6 years of successful enterprise IT sales and account management experience.
- A history of successful net-new account acquisition. A customer base that is willing to transition to IMPEX Technologies with you is a plus.
- Experience in the latest state-of-the art enterprise technologies, including, but not limited to: Virtualization, End-User Computing, Private & Hybrid Cloud, Networked Storage, Converged Infrastructure, Data Center, and Application platforms.
- Experience working with medium and large enterprise or state/local government (SLED) accounts.
- Experience selling Cloud, Infrastructure, Analytics and Security solutions to medium and large accounts.
- A successful track record of meeting and exceeding revenue goals.
- Possess an entrepreneurial spirit, are self-motivated and comfortable to excel in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.
- Applicant must be organized, analytical, creative, and highly adept at managing within a sales and engineering team setting.
- Ability to design and implement project schedules, handle multiple priorities and manage long-term, multi-million-dollar engagements with multiple project tracks and vendor teams.
- Possess a firm understanding and practical experience with the use of project management processes and methodologies.
