Job Summary:
The senior financial analyst will work directly with leadership and the finance and accounting teams. This individual will develop and own financial analyses. They will identify, research, and resolve any problems/errors found in financial data as necessary, owning the reliability of their reports and analyses. They will develop procedures and identify and implement process improvements. Additionally, they will assist with ad hoc reporting and projects.
Responsibilities:
· Build and maintain financial reports to clearly communicate actual results, forecasted performance, variances to plan, forecast, and budget
· Identify trends, analyze results, and provide actionable insights to leadership on a regular basis
· Identify and explain unusual financial and operational variance and collaborate on resulting actions and performance measurement
· Lead aspects of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
· Provide Ad Hoc analytical forecasting, reporting, and project support to senior management
· Produce monthly reports which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting
· Maintain reporting schedule and deliverables across all finance and accounting to ensure timely and organized reporting
· Any additional duties as necessary
Qualifications:
· 4+ years of relevant experience in public accounting, corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, or other related fields
· Bachelor & graduate degree in finance, accounting, or another quantitative field
· Advanced skillset in Microsoft Excel
· Experience and/or familiarity with SAP and Tableau preferred
· Advanced analytical and quantitative skills; demonstrated understanding of economic, financial, and accounting concepts
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information to and collaborate with all levels of management
· Ability to structure logical approaches and apply a range of quantitative techniques to solve business problems
· Ability to independently prioritize analyses in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
· Comfortable working self-sufficiently to creatively solve analytical challenges with limited data and imminent deadlines
