The Problems You’ll Solve
The Strategic Partnerships Coordinator will lead volunteer and capacity building programming for city
agencies to increase their ability to engage residents in volunteerism. The Strategic Partnerships
Coordinator will report to the Senior Advisor, Strategic Partnerships and collaborate with other NYC
Service Staff. The primary focus of this position will be the NYC Service Bureau, Resident Volunteer
Corps, and community outreach. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
NYC Service Bureau Grant Support
- Manage partnerships with strategically identified city agencies to lead in the development and
implementation of city agency volunteer projects.
- Develop and implement City agency volunteer program plans with partners using management
tools, training, and resources to build and/or expand volunteer management programs.
