Role:
The Logistics Admin Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the seamless operation of our logistics processes. Your responsibilities will include coordinating transportation activities, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of units to our clients. You will work closely with the logistics team to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Duties:
- Assist in coordinating transportation services for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Monitor modular unit and track movement within the yard.
- Communicate with team members to facilitate smooth logistics operations.
- Prepare shipping documents, invoices, and customs paperwork accurately.
- Request transportation permits for oversize loads.
- Support the logistics team in resolving any transportation issues or delays promptly.
- Maintain organized records of shipments, inventory levels, and delivery schedules.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline logistics processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Perform general clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, maintaining documentation and other duties as assigned.
Skills:
- Experience in a logistics or supply chain role is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication abilities for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with clerical tasks such as data entry and record keeping.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
