Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Consultant – Compute and Virtualization to join our dynamic Private Cloud Infrastructure team. This role involves leading the design and implementation of complex, virtualized environments, utilizing cutting-edge technology to solve business challenges. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in hybrid cloud environments, virtualization, and converged and hyperconverged infrastructure.
Job Functions & Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage comprehensive virtualized and converged'hyperconverged solutions, ensuring seamless integration and operational efficiency.

Lead and mentor a team of consultants and engineers, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Collaborate with pre-sales teams to understand client needs, propose technical solutions, and identify new business opportunities.

Manage large-scale migrations and deployments, such as transitioning from legacy infrastructures to modernized data centers.

Oversee and ensure the quality of technical documentation and provide detailed guidelines for both clients and internal teams.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with technology partners, vendors, and cross-functional internal teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Required Qualifications & Experience:

Proven track record as a Senior Technical Consultant with extensive experience with portfolios and technology from vendors such as VMware, Dell, Cisco, and Nutanix.

Proficient in technologies such as:

Dell VxRail, VMware vSAN, Nutanix, Hyper-V

Cisco UCS
-
Dell VxBlock
-
Dell PowerEdge MX
-
Experience with VMware Software Defined Datacenter (SDDC) technologies such as VCF, VMC on AWS, and HCX.

Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and complex projects.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.

Relevant certifications in VMware, Dell Technologies, and other cloud or infrastructure services are highly preferred.
Nice-to-haves

Knowledge of network storage protocols such as NFS, iSCSI, Fibre Channel, and SAN/NAS environments such as Powerscale/Isilon.

Proficiency in managing network configurations and protocols such as TCP/IP, VLAN, BGP across various network environments.

Proficient in adapting and implementing emerging technologies, including Dell EMC PowerFlex, to enhance data center agility and scalability

Familiarity with composable infrastructure such as HPE Synergy for datacenter streamlining

Familiarity with disaster recovery and business continuity tools such as VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM) and Zerto, enhancing enterprise resilience

Compensation:
$149,500 to 189,750 USD Annual
