Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the company, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and productivity
- Manage and supervise team members by providing guidance and support
- Set performance goals and objectives with the team, and monitor progress
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure coordination and alignment of goals
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to optimize operations
- Develop and maintain relationships with several key clients
- Conduct regular meetings with staff to communicate goals, expectations, and updates
- Perform basic bookkeeping skills, payroll, and reconciliation of bank accounts
- Work in QuickBooks to manage financial transactions
- Onboard new hires and perform basic HR responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as Office Manager, Operations Manager, or a similar role at a small business or company
- Excellent leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and inspire a team
- Proficient in strategic planning and business development
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
- Experience in reading P&L and Balance Sheets
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Office or Operations Manager required (5+ Years)
- Bookkeeping Skills (3+ Years)
- QuickBooks (3+ Years)
Essential Skills:
- QuickBooks/ Microsoft Excel / Office Suite (A MUST)
- Effectively prioritizes workflow based on company’s needs
- Excellent interpersonal communication and team building skills
- Professional tone, verbal and in-person presence
- Works independently with minimal supervision
- Meets deadlines in a timely manner
