Sales Account Executive
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Account Executive to join a growing logistics team!
What You'll Be Doing:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, trade shows, and lead generation. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and loyalty.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales and new customer activation targets. Present and demonstrate freight brokerage services to potential clients.
- Stay informed on industry trends, marketing conditions, and the competitive landscape. Use this information to adjust sales strategies and provide insights to our team.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with clients. Close sales deals and ensure all contractual obligations are met.
- Work closely with the rest of the sales team and the operations team to ensure seamless service and client satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status. Provide regular updates and forecasts to management.
What We Need From You:
- Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
- Excellent written/verbal communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed to trade shows.
- Proven experience as a Sales Account Executive, Sales Representative, or similar role, preferably in the logistics or freight brokerage industry a major plus but not required.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred but not needed.
- Knowledge of the logistics and freight brokerage industry is a plus.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
