A New View Counseling and Psychological Services is a premier outpatient private mental health practice. We are an insurance-based practice making mental health assessment and treatment accessible and approachable.
WHAT WE NEED:
We are looking for a Testing Psychologist who is experienced and trained in conducting assessments for children and adults. You must meet the following criteria:
- Fully-licensed in TX as a licensed psychologist
- Graduated from APA accredited doctoral program and APA accredited predoctoral internship
- Strong evidence of skills in differential diagnosis as well as administration, scoring, and interpretation of a variety of instruments
Preference will be given to an individual who has the following:
- Formal ADOS-2 training and experience administering it at all ages and ability levels; also need to be knowledgeable about other components of autism assessment
- Skills for assessing/differential diagnosis of ADHD across the lifespan
- Several years of experience in a clinical setting testing individuals at all ages for a variety of presenting concerns
EXPECTED RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct client consultation and assessments to evaluate mental health needs
- Complete written reports of assessment findings
- Complete documentation in electronic health record for encounters with client
- Collaborate with other team members to provide holistic support to the client
