Job Summary:
The Advertising and Sales Coordinator (AD Coordinator) will create and deliver advertising and sales programs across a variety of media sources.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Coordinates periodic sales programs and promotions based on merchandising trends.
· Compiles materials and coordinates activities related to special events such as holidays, new store openings, trade shows, or anticipated product release.
· Coordinates activities in various departments to ensure advertising and sales programs reach targeted customers in a timely and effective manner.
· Develops and maintains files related to sales programs, weekly ads, and marketing and special event communications; ensures they are available for future reference.
· Confers with Buyers regarding the customer response to promotional programs and general market conditions.
· Coordinates printing and production of advertising and sales materials.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Superior verbal and written communication skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
· Extremely creative and inventive.
· Ability to compile, analyze, and communicate data.
· Organized and detail-oriented.
· Excellent interpersonal skills.
Education and Experience:
· High school degree required, Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
