Although out headquarters is in Litchfield, MN this position is at our growing branch location in Cottonwood, MN. Our company is dedicated to being the best in our industry. - Small team. Big results. There are currently only 4 full time people that work out of this office. Many days this candidate will be the only person at the facility for much of the day while the rest of the team is on jobsites.
Position- this is a new position to our growing company! We are somewhat flexible on overall hours worked and schedule. Total hours is reallly up to the candidate and their willingness to perform a variety of tasks and learn new things. We can be flexible with scheduling, but want a minimum of 4 days/ week and 30 hours. (I.E.- Perfect job for someone that may want to work while their kids are at school.) Hours worked will all be on-site (no remote working)
Duties
- Perform general administrative duties such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing correspondence
- Maintain and organize office files, records, and documents
- Provide clerical support, including data entry, photocopying, and scanning documents
- Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees in a professional and friendly manner
-Assist with helping customers with parts and shipping/packaging parts.
-Mowing lawn, general maintenance and cleaning of office and shop.
-Operating a forklift to load materials and unload deliveries
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks software
- Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Provide support to other team members as requested
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
- Willingness to perform a variety of different tasks throughout the day and ability to learn to skills. (Example: may be answering the phones in the morning and mowing lawn in the afternoon)
- Proven experience in an administrative or office assistant role is preferred
- Knowledge of administrative procedures and office management systems
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and helpful attitude
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
